Taiwan 16' Day 1 TAICHUNG

Booked our flight ticket around January 16', and here we go now!

So, Taipei, Taiwan here I come!

It was my brother's decision to go Taiwan, probably because it is cheaper and another Asian country that we haven't been to yet. I have to admit that Taiwan it's not under my "Asian country to go" list though, I don't know. I was thinking about saving all my travel money to Japan someday. Haha, but anyway, after my 5 days 4 nights journey to Taiwan, I am totally in-love with the country and couldn't wait for my next trip to visit Taiwan any sooner !

Alright, so now I'll let my photos do the rest of the talking then.

here comes my journey to Taiwan, day 1 :)

Day 1

After arriving in Taoyuan International Airport, we took the shutter bus to Taoyuan High Speed rail station. The journey to the station is about 15 minutes and it cost us around RM10 for 3 of us.

So here's the ticket and took our first selfie while travelling to Taichung with their high speed rail. We arrived at Taichung station around 5.30pm and we took a cab to our hotel. ( Actually there's bus to the area we stay, but we did not know by that time )

Finally.. we've successfully checked in to our room.

For your information, we are staying right above the FengChia night market which is known as xintun district. We only stay here for a night, so we booked a cheaper home stay hotel. Although the room is kinda small to fit 3 of us, but overall it is quite good.I'll rate 7/10 (:

The location of our hotel is perfect. We can walk back to our hotel to put our stuff after first round of walking around the night market which is very convenient and we do not have to travel or carry stuff around.

The foods are so delicious over here and most important part is the price ! It is very cheap compare. I mean reasonable. You get to drink a fresh fruit juice for just RM2 ? ! wtf. Isn't it cheap ? Haha.

After the first round of eating, drinking and shopping around, we decided to walk back to our hotel and take a quick break before second round.

Haha.

while we having a break in our hotel room, we found out that the night market is actually very big and we only explore about 20% of it only just now. So, for the second round, we gotta explore the rest of the part of FengChia since we only get to spend a night here.

Okay. I think that's all for our day 1 in Taichung. Nothing much as we do not have much time to go other places today.

Before I end my post, I will list down the top 3 food to eat in Taichung Feng Chia night market. How can I forget about not sharing food photos right? so here we go.

#1 Stinky French Fries Tofu

I forgot what flavored I've ordered, but trust me, it is damn good. As you know I'm a huge fans of fries, so this french fries tofu definitely a must eat food for me. oh, btw, if you're afraid of trying the "real" stinky tofu, this will definitely be a best choice for you too !

#2 Stinky Tofu

Next, stinky tofu ! there's no words i can use to describe the taste of it. You HAVE to try it yourself.

#3 Papaya milkshake
